WOUNDED WARRIER FACILITY TO BE DEDICATED TO LOCAL FALLEN HERO

Wounded Warrior Facility to be Dedicated to Local Fallen Hero
Over a hundred residents and community leaders are expected to turn out for a ceremony honoring local hero Corporal Jason L. Dunham, for whom a new wounded warrior barracks facility is being named at LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve on October 23, 2010.

The colorful Patriot Guard Riders will kick off the ceremony by escorting Corporal Dunham’s parents from their home in Scio, NY for the 20-mile ride to LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve in northern PA, and will join local and military dignitaries in commemorating the selfless acts of service men and women who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The dedication ceremony will begin upon their arrival and will feature guest speaker Major General Randy West (U.S. Marine Corps, Ret.) and Medal of Honor recipient Colonel Wesley Fox, USMC (ret).

WHO: Patriot Guard Riders, military leaders, wounded warriors, community leaders and elected officials, citizens of northern PA.

Rain Rain & More Rain

I love living on top of a hill when you see the water rising in the river in downtown Wellsville.  I am sad to see it all because it is knocking all the leaves off the trees before they even get a chance to change into any real beautiful colors.
I haven't heard the scanner go off much, so that is good.
